Earlswood Cricket Club Under 17s Claim Play-Offs Final Victory
Corbally Group (A sister company of Cilldara) recently unveiled a three-year sponsorship partnership with Earlswood Cricket Club, providing all the club’s teams with brand-new shirts.
It was truly exciting to see the Under 17s clinch the title in the fresh Corbally-branded kit, marking a memorable milestone for both the team and the sponsorship. Their triumph in the Play-Offs Final was a fitting showcase of the club’s success, made even more special by their new look.
Earlswood Cricket Club has enjoyed a remarkable year across all its sections, but perhaps the most impressive achievement has come from the Under 17s team. The young players delivered an exceptional season, clinching their league title by an impressive margin. Their dominance didn’t stop there, as they also triumphed in the highly coveted Under 17s Hundred/100 Play-Offs for the prestigious Ryan Birt Trophy.
A proud father moment for Michael Graham, shown above with his two sons Callum and Daniel, who helped Earlswood to win the final and were very influential in the season, being the teams top two run scorers respectively.
In a thrilling final, Earlswood’s U17 team set a formidable target, posting an innings total of 121 for 5. Their opponents struggled to match the high standard of play, and the young cricketers sealed their victory with a commanding five-wicket win, showcasing both skill and resilience.
The success of the U17 team, underpinned by strong teamwork and strategic play, reflects the growth and potential of Earlswood Cricket Club as a whole.
